Overview

Amanda Crowell has been a practicing attorney since 1993.  She graduated in 1989 with high honors from the University of Tennessee where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  Then she earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1992.

Amanda Crowell began her career as Assistant General Counsel for the State of Tennessee.  It is there she prosecuted health care professionals before their respective licensing boards.

Areas of Law

Amanda has been in private practice in Lebanon, Tennessee since 1998.  Prior to joining Kane & Crowell, she was with the law firm of Lee & Lee Attorneys, P.C.  Amanda practices primarily in the area of family law, representing clients in divorce, custody, paternity, child support, alimony, grandparent visitation, parental relocation, and adoption matters.

Additionally, Amanda practices in the areas of wills, trusts, and estate planning.

Handling family law appellate work for the entire middle Tennessee region is also something Amanda enjoys.  She was the attorney for the prevailing party in the reported case, Keisling v. Keisling, 92 S.W.3d 374 (2005).  With this case, she established controlling legal authority in a post-divorce custody matter.

Memberships

Amanda Crowell is a member of the 15th Judicial Bar Association and the Lebanon Noon Rotary Club.  Additionally, she is a member of the Margaret Gaston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).  Amanda is a graduate of Leadership Wilson.

Her husband, Chris Crowell, is Senior Vice President of Southern Bank of Tennessee.  Chris has served as the Ward 4 Councilman for the City of Lebanon since 2016. Daughter, Maggie, is a graduate of Washington & Lee Universities.  And son, Ethan, is a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Amanda is also an active member of Lebanon First United Methodist Church.
